Netsuite admitting any emails sent from one Netsuite instance to another are blocked - Require workaround

We've had an ongoing issue for almost a year. Our IT team manage 2 companies, they are owned by the same family but are treated as 2 separate entities.

Both of these companies use Netsuite.

In Netsuite we use scan and capture software plugin to grab all our invoices from our suppliers, scan them and process them into a Netsuite invoice. This is all working for all our suppliers except the other company we manage. After months of investigation, we found the issue was being caused by Netsuite blocking emails to other Netsuite instances (even if they are 2 completely seperate accounts).

The way it works is emails are sent from suppliers to a mailbox which then forwards it to the plugin via email address.

Long story short their support is useless (the plugin company realized what the issue was before Netsuite did)

Is there a way to remove all the information that points to Netsuite in the header so when forwarded to Netsuite it doesn't realise that it's originally from Netsuite and instead looks like it has come straight from our mailbox?

I hope this makes sense, been an absolute pain for so long as the only workaround is to manually forward the emails from the mailbox, to the same mailbox which then gets captured in Netsuite.

Thanks,Cameron Barratt

  1. Emails sent from companies Netsuite instance via internal email function to other companies shared mailbox
  2. Emails forwarded to the email address of the plugin
  3. Verified email forwarded to Netsuite and advise of successful email
  4. Checked with Message saved search to verify no email in Netsuite

Should be capturing and processing email
